Energy Dates Chocolate Bar

Energy dates chocolate bar is a pretty simple sweet treat super food to make and you don’t need a lot of ingredient. It’s totally raw so these are made and stored quickly for your daily needs. These little bars are the perfect craving buster, pack well in lunches, and are best right out of the fridge or freezer. They taste a whole lot like a candy bar without the guilt.
Ingredients
- 8 oz medjool dates (pitted)
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
- 3 tbsp carob powder
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F and place raw hazelnuts on a baking pan, lined with parchment paper. Roast them for about 15-16 minutes.
- In a food processor add hazelnuts, carob powder and pinch of sea salt. Pulse for 10 seconds or more if needed.
- Add dates and raisins and pulse until all the ingredients starts to go smooth and well incorporated.
- Transfer to a cutting board lined with parchment paper. Form a log ( 7 x 4 x 1/2 inch approximately). Cut into 6 bars and refrigerate until ready to eat.
