How To Create a Morning Routine:
Start the night before.
1. Load and Run Your Dishwasher.
Running your appliances in the evening will also help you to save money because usually, during off-peak hours, the rates are cheaper. Plus, loading and running the dishwasher in the evenings will save you time the next morning because you don’t wake up to a sink full of dirty dishes.
2. Set Up the Coffee Pot.
If you’re like me, you enjoy waking up to a cup of hot coffee. Setting up the coffee pot and setting the timer the night before means you’re not stumbling into the kitchen to make coffee before starting your day. There’s nothing like waking up to the scent of fresh coffee wafting through the house!
3. Create Your “To Do” List.
Sit down and make a plan for the next day. Write out your “to do” list such as appointments, projects that must be completed, and anything that you must get done. This will help you to decide what things you need to gather and what clothes would be best for your tasks.
4. Get Everything Together for Your Day.
Take some time to gather all paperwork and anything you may need to get things on your “to do” list completed. If you have kids, have them ensure that they’ve all their homework together and any papers that you need to sign have been signed. Place all of these near your door so that all you must do is pick them up on your way out.
5. Prepare Lunches.
If you take your lunch to work, take some time to prepare them the night before. This will save lots of time the next morning. Maybe get yourself some inspirational/motivational music to get your inspiration going? With the technology that we have these days, if you use public transportation, take some time to catch up on your emails for the day- so that’s one less thing you must do when you get to the office.
20. Don’t Forget to Take Breaks.

You should all the time be on the lookout to improve yourself- whether through taking classes or reading books. You have already got some fantastic talents and abilities- just find ways to improve upon those and you’ll be much more productive and successful in life.
24. Set Some Milestones.
Sure, it’s great to have an idea of what you want your life to look like in five years- ten years- or more. However, you must set some milestones to make those dreams come true. Getting some exercise will in fact help you to relax. However, you must ensure that you don’t exercise too near bedtime or the endorphins will have the opposite effect and will keep you awake.
